ClickandBuy Announces Version 2.0

Version Includes a New Upgrade to its Digital Payments Platform, a New Logo and Web Navigation

New York, NY – December 13, 2006 – ClickandBuy, one of the leading ePayment and storefront providers for online digital content and services, today announced ClickandBuy Version 2.0 - the latest version of its digital payments platform, which will enable merchants to provide more billing options and will allow consumers to create new accounts where they can hold money on balance in a personal ClickandBuy account. Once the account is set, users are able to jump to different merchants within the ClickandBuy network.
Version 2.0 enhances the merchants’ ability to offer many more billing options – debit and credit cards, eCheck and the phone billing of digital content. Phone billing, which is popular in Europe, will be introduced by ClickandBuy during the Spring of 2007. With this new version, the company will also unveil a peer-to-peer payment system in 2007 where consumers can buy and sell digital goods to one another.

The new platform offers consumers more options, such as the ability to create a personal account – similar to a bank account - with a balance, eliminating the need to ”pay as you go.” eWallets or pre-paid accounts can be created to store cash and keep money on deposit for all forms of digital content – from games, songs, streaming media, movies, PDFs and podcasts. The eWallet functionality allows merchants to sell more types of digital content all at one time (yearly subscriptions, monthly offers or micropayments). The new platform allows users to set personal spending limits and to opt out of adult content, which allows parents to monitor digital entertainment in the home.

New Corporate Identity
Along with the upgraded payment platform, ClickandBuy created a new logo as well as a new look and feel across its website. ClickandBuy becomes ClickandBuy, making it consistent across all url’s and territories. Based on the findings of extensive market research, the new identity is seen to be cleaner, more recognisable and easier to navigate, while being customisable by web merchants to match their color schemes. New designs and layouts were created to improve the usability and communication between merchants, customers and ClickandBuy. This is designed to enhance merchant brand recognition and in return increase purchase levels and revenues.

Global Expansion
ClickandBuy is one of Europe’s prominent payment systems and has 7,000 merchants worldwide. This past year the company received $23 million in venture funding, and Deutsche Telekom (DT) bought a 10 percent stake in ClickandBuy in August 2006. Part of the DT investment is the opportunity to take payments through the 17,000 Hot Spots of T-Online globally.
For its expansion plans, ClickandBuy will extend its brand into South America through a partnership with TELMEX– the largest telco in Central and South America. The next market to address is Asia. ClickandBuy CEO Norbert Stangl said ”The market in Asia is the largest economic challenge of the next years. Our partners in Europe again and again express their desire to use ClickandBuy in Asia. We will now rise to this challenge.”

ClickandBuy is more than a payment processor. Merchants outsource all or part of their eCommerce activities to ClickandBuy, who not only manages the payment process, but also offers live customer support for consumers, credit card fraud detection, monthly invoicing and easy implementation of various payment methods. ClickandBuy processes, handles and manages digital content for games, songs, movies, streaming video, podcasts, VoIP calls, television, publishing and mobile devices.
