What is a subscription?

As with other subscriptions, you are only required to give your approval once to be able to use the service regularly. A subscription has a fixed period and is paid in fixed installments. Each merchant decides its own minimum subscription period and its payment schedule. The merchant is also bears full responsibility for deciding whether subscriptions are automatically extended or expire at the end of a specific period of time. Subscriptions are often offered as a premium service. When you have selected a single offer, a subscription will sometimes be offered as an alternative when you are making the purchase. You may take advantage of this option, but you are not required to do so. Your advantages: Subscriptions are usually a much better deal than single purchases and are also made available in combination with other offers. For example, some merchants allow you, as a subscriber to a newspaper, free access to the newspaper’s archives.

Where can I view and cancel my subscriptions?

You can manage your subscriptions in your ClickandBuy account:
 

1. Log in at ClickandBuy-Portal with your user name and password to view your ClickandBuy account.
2. Use the tabs to go to the Transactions or Settings area. Then click on the menu item Subscriptions. There you will see an overview of your current subscriptions.

After the minimum subscription period agreed with the merchant has expired, you can cancel a subscription here. Subscriptions that have expired are no longer shown in the subscription overview.
